Known as the “Seven-Color Mountain” or “Rainbow Mountain,” it is a magical place surrounded by snow-capped peaks, camels, birds, rivers, and Andean communities. It has now become a natural wonder and the second most visited site after Machu Picchu.
The second most visited site after Machu Picchu, the vibrant colors of the mountain are due to glaciation or snowmelt, and it is also known as Vinicunca.
ITINERARY
In the morning, between 4:00 and 5:00 AM, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to begin the journey.
We will have our first stop to enjoy breakfast in the town of Cusipata. After breakfast, we will continue traveling to the transportation parking area, where we will start our hike, which lasts approximately 1 hour.
Upon reaching Rainbow Mountain, you will have free time to take photographs of this magical place. After some time, we will return to the starting point, where our tourist transportation will be waiting to take us back to Cusipata, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch.
Return to Cusco, arriving around 5:00 PM.
