Tour: Waqrapukara

Waqrapukara Tour is a newly promoted tourist attraction in Cusco, located in the province of Acomayo near the Apurímac River, at an altitude of 4,300 meters (13,123 feet), south of the city of Cusco. Waqrapukara has not yet been fully deciphered and may be considered a fortress, a sanctuary, or an astronomical observatory. Initially built by the Quinchas and later conquered by the Incas, this site offers a unique and unusual destination where visitors can enjoy spectacular landscapes, various lakes, and the depths of the Apurímac Canyon. It is an opportunity to connect with nature and feel the energy of this amazing place.
